Hi there, all new to this site. This may already be answered perfectly on another post so forgive me if this is a repeat.

Last week I received the above papers after ignoring all responses before. I am looking for advice to defend this claim and there is so much information around on here I'm not entirely sure what I should be putting.

Any advice on the matter would be very much appreciated!

You should never ignore these things. It makes think that they are going to have an easy time of it and they are more likely to issue a claim.

You must acknowledge receipt of the claim form immediately - and then give us further details of what has happened.

Also - extremely important, if you decide to defend, then it is likely that you will go to court and this means that you will need to understand what your arguments are.

Spend at least a couple of days reading through as much of the forum information as you can so that you understand what all of the issues are in relation to private parking penalties.

pers details showing - removed

please redact it

**you can post up images/letters by this method immediately..you don't need 10 posts**

set your default scan page size to A4 less than 300DPI [150 will do]

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc

but leave all monetary figures and dates.

DO IT IN MSPAINT.EXE or any photo editing program

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites ...

if you have multiple scans/pics

put them in a word doc FIRST and convert that to PDF

or http://www.freepdfconvert.com/

use www.pdfmerge.com

convert existing PC files to PDF [office has an installable print to PDF option]

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

or if you have PDF as an installed printer drive use that

or use word and save as pdf

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

though DONT USE BANK NAMES or CAG in the title

i'e Default notice DD-mm-yyyy

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

YOU DONT have to put a link to the attachment in the msg box..just upload it ..job done

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Ok forst of all acknowledge the claim adn say you are defending it in full. Yiou will then have more time to put together a defence and they will have to pay an allocation fee and the case will then be moved to your local court for the hearing.

Where did you park? Go and photograph the signs and show us what it says. Also, note where the signage is and how big it is. If there is no sign at the entrance to the land then it make a claim of no contract due to ignoranceeasier but this is never foolproof.

Then write to UKCPS and demand "strict proof"of their claim by way of sight of the contract between the landlord and themselves tht they ahve the right to form contracts with users of the car park and take legal action in their own name. If they refuse to give you this write to the court and ask that the claim be struck out for failing to show "locus standi". (basically the right to claim in court)
