Hi Everyone,

I moved out of the UK in January 2009.

I had a small loan at Lloyds TSB which was paying regularly,

when leaving the UK had about 600 pounds still to be paid back.

Was unemployed for some period of time and unfortunately could not pay the rest of the money back.

Does it appear on criminal records check ( DBS checks)?

Would appreciate your advice on this matter.

Regards

NO!!

its a civil debt

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

kasiek

Not to worry... It'll only be on your credit profile. Like DX mentioned it's not a criminal matter.

I cant think if it ever becomes a criminal matter from the top of my head.

What's the reason you ask?

We could do with some help from you.
