I received a parking charge notice from LCP Parking in June last year for parking without payment in the Harlesden Plaza.

I had tried to purchase a ticket but the machine would not accept one 20 pence coins (this has happened to me on a few occasions at this car park). It literally kept returning the coin to me and I

tried in vain for 15 minutes, and I gave up and decided to move my car and park on the off street parking.

I received a PCN which I contested on the above grounds, but it was rejected by LCP on the grounds that I should have phoned them to report a fault in machine (I did not have my phone with me on this occasion).

I chose to ignore any further correspondence that I received from LCP,Roxburgh and now Gladstone Solicitors), as I thought that this was the correct thing to do. I have now become aware that things have changed and that this is now the wrong thing to do.

Gladstone Solicitors are writing to me stating that they may take legal action against me.

I am unsure of what I need to do!

Hi iams, Welcome to Cag.

Have you got any of the original paperwork ?

From what you have said, it was an ANPR capture.

You state that you contested it. In the rejection letter they should have given you a POPLA code.

Thank you for the welcome.

Unfortunately I no longer have the email that they sent to me to reject my appeal, I do not recall there being a POPLA code on there. I do have all of the other correspondence from them however.

Would I be able to request a duplicate rejection response from them?

Gladstones solicitors can do nothing at all other than represent someone else so their threats are empty.

Unfortunately, without all of the correspondence there is little people here can say that will be pretinent to your situation until such time the noise that these debt collectors make become something more solid.

Read a good selection of the other postings to get a feel of what usually happens. LCP are not litigious.

Thank you for your response "erics brother".

As mentioned in my first post I have been ignoring all correspondence in regards to this PCN.

I think that I will continue to do so, thank you forum for your responses...
