the OP had the product for 5 days

under any contract/agreement it can be returned

the Tiny principle does not apply - Tough Its Now Yours.

which is so prevalent in the motor trade and elsewhere

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

what is tiny?

its my words , after the label we gave TINY computer stores [EPSON in sheeps clothing]

and the crap the Epson sold through them

they wouldn't even allow a customer to return a PC or printer once they have left the store.

I think that label fits very well here.

I can just see it now

you go buy a 2nd hand car

5 days later you find some major fault with it.

are you REALLY saying, you would not be on there doorstep demanding your money back...

I think not heliosuk.....

If you want to sell a car and claim it is in fantastic condition and they 'attempt' to get out of it by saying well it was only a grand, will not wash in law.

It can be advertised as fantastic 'for it's age', then it would become subjective.

Sorry, age and price does not override a mis described car.

that looks like it, here's the text of the ad

GREEN, LOW MILEAGE 4X4 PART EXCHANGE TO CLEAR FANTASTIC CONDITION SORRY SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD, Alloy wheels, Front and rear electric windows, Central locking, Height adjustable steering wheel, RDS radio/cassette, Electric heated + adjustable door mirrors, Engine immobiliser. VERY VERY CLEAN THROUGHOUT In Metallic Racing Green Paintwork With Un Marked Grey Interior, Excellent Specification Including, Power Steering, Electric Windows , Electric Mirrors, Central Locking, Alloy Wheels, Side Steps C/D Player etc etc VERY GOOD CONDITION MOT May 2014 PX TO CLEAR BARGAIN £995 CHEAP 4X4 BARGAIN Call Now On [removed]

NOW SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD, MOT WARRANTY AND FREE SERVICE INCLUDED PX A PLEASURE, £995

And the dealer has left himself wide open by saying 'fantastic condition' AND that MOT warranty and free service are included.

What an idiot.

The OPs best way forward is to go and claim his included MOT and service I reckon!

If it passes an MOT even with some advisories on the tyres etc then that's that... or the dealer should repair as needed to get it through the MOT, end of, no arguments!

It's the first one I came across when I googled the original post, whether it's the correct one is for the OP to confirm if he hasn't been put off posting by the 2nd hand traders that frequent the forum
