Been waiting since summer 2012.

 

I know this is an advice forum and don't need advice so won't waste anyone's time. ie I don't need to be told this is unacceptable nor ways in which I can complain and/or speed up the process. I've alread told DWP how difficult this is for me on a day by day basis and please can they crack on and process my application "at your earliest convenience"

 

I just wanted someone to know.

that's so unfair...I know you know that.....ReallyMadWoman had a long wait too, but your situation may be different to hers, maybe a read through her saga may offer some ideas that maybe you haven't tried. I cant tell whether its atos your waiting for re assessment or some other scenario with dwp.

 

whatever....I hope they sort it soon.

I don't know, maybe I should read her posts and history to make myself feel better? Sounds like her struggle is as long as mine, maybe longer. Did she not up give yet?

 

Is she coping? cause I'm not.

I can't hang around forever, waiting for them to decide my fate.

 

They are all I have now. They either continue to give the support I need or not. But, like justice, it must be (seen to be) swift. I need to know now.

 

I think I can stop being so careful with what I spend, stretching out what I have.

 

I think I'm going to start to deprive myself of capital and blow the lot!

To be fair, ten posts in under two hours and you haven't given any background to your issue, nor were you initially asking for advice.

 

Most of the regulars have a life outside and don't spend all day sitting in front of the computer... A suggestion: Provide some background information, ask specific questions, and wait a little while for a considered response please.

I just spoke to them again, they don't scare me anymore. I've lost all respect for them (not the frontline staff)

 

She said, " Well, we're just waiting, doing our best....." "hang on in there, we'll let you know as soon as we know"

 

I'm a danger to myself right now, might do something "rash", make the wrong decision.

I feel your frustration. Take a serious deep breath and keep calm and I know in this day and age that is not easy..

Constant contact and anything I can do to speed it up my end

 

But no. The proccss is just taking longer than normal due to......Cuts in staff, more workload their end and changes in targets to cut the country's national defecit.

 

Well I have a process too which is vital to my welfare and wellbeing which is directly impacted upon and by, the process set about above.

Hi Consumer, no I've not involved others.

 

I think I need to stand on my own 2 feet here.

 

But I'm not rellying on, like before, someone to call on my behalf.

 

I'm doing it myself. But I can't do anything about the DWP Backlog and my reliance on them.

 

I'm too sick to do stuff like this myself now. I don't want to ask for help or involve people in my life.....

 

................But I do need to know if I'm going to have an income.

thanks for calling my response poxy...I was only trying to help, you said you felt utter despair. the wait you have had is unfair IMO, sorry if its not yours. you didn't ask for advice I thought my comment may be of some help, it obviously wasn't, I wont bother again with anymore poxy responses.
