Hi,

I ordered my sofas nearly 3 months ago, and still no delivery.

I originally stumbled across their birmingham store after visiting the bullring one day.

This has since closed, although I ordered my sofa directly from Droitwich.

However, there has recently been an end of lease / closing down sale 28th / 29th June, and shop is now closed, and phone cut off.

If you live locally like I do, all the sale signs are still up, but shop is closed, with no new details.

One guy who emailed me said he has received a letter stating about the store closure. I asked about last week, and somebody thought they were on the next road over, George bayliss road, unit 3/4, but when I walked over, it was all closed up, with what looked like old sofa / furniture signs. There was still a "To Let" sign still up, so not sure if the info the other guy gave me was right or not.

Might be worth keeping an eye on these units to see if Yes Sofas are reopened here?

We bought a sofa from this company back in Feb this year, we paid a £950 deposit and told it would be 16 weeks. We tried to call the shop at the weekend but is was disconnected, so we drove to Droitwich and found the shop closed up. Any advice on what to do next? As has been mentioned there were no company registration or vat numbers on our receipt. We did pay £850 of the deposit on cc but how do you show that they are in default without any correspondence or receiver appointed ?

They paid deposit on there debit card. We went to them on Saturday after trying in the week and the number does not exist, to find out the store is now closed. We do not live in the area . Do you think we will get deposit back and what action can we do.

Yes they are opening there we drove up on Saturday. We spoke to the plasterer he said should be open in two weeks.but we want our deposit back they are a waste of space. We don't live in area but been waiting since march for our suite

As you paid on a Debit Card you may well be able to do a chargeback.

There will be no need to tell your bank the rumour about them opening around the corner. Which may or may not be true or it might be a completely different company altogether.

It has been mentioned that this company has gone into administration then opened up under a new name. Hopefully this won't be happening 'round the corner'

His name is Oliver Goode with pony tail . We visited his new place which is suppose to open in a few weeks but he is full of crap . We had his mobile number and was suppose to phone us last Monday with delivery dates yet again which he did not do.

**** quality and he did leave us with a thread bare two seatter while he put ours rite but as you can imagine havent seen or heard off him since simply vanished

When you turn to go left onto car park don't, just go straight down the road and he is on the right in a unit. We haven't received our sofa but don't want it now anyway .it was ordered in March. but would like our deposit back

we didn't get ours and we ordered it in Feb. Have begun proceedings against them through our CC.

My parents didn't receive there's either they are trying to get deposit back through bank but paid on debit card in March. Out of the blue he phoned them on Tuesday to say it was ready but they no longer want it or trust him to believe anything he says. They did go and see him yesterday but he just tells too many lies changing his story.

how do you do a cc if you have no forwarding address ?
