    • It would be worthwhile just to create a paper trail that proves your company has doen the right thing. I wouldnt mention the harassment at this stage.
    • under the Protection of Freedoms Act the parking co have to issue a notice ofr each event and where they use ANPR capture as in your case they are obliged to end out the notices within a specific timeframe and the wording of the notice must contain key phrases. As you have appealed if they got this wrong them you have lost the protection of the law. As for the charge (never a fine) going up if you appeal, that is unlawful but what can happen is that the time taken to consider the appeal means that it overruns the discount period. Now thet are supposed to consider each charge individually so again by lumping them together you have removed that protection in law but that is why they have written to you 20 times. Now the good news is that it is likely to be railway land and that means the byelaws count, not what APCOA say. Can you get us soem pictures of the entrance to the car park and any signs that are there and note exactly what size they are adn where they are located inreference to the entrance, height above ground level etc. What is normal for them is a sign in print that needs an electron microscope to read placed at the back of the car park in a space where you cannot easily get to without climbing boots. When you get the piccies post them up here along with a copy of their Notice to Keeper (redacted to remove personal details and any reference number, bar code etc) and their rejection letter
    • i received a letter from the court ( i cant remember what it was called ) but the claimant had ticked for mediation , i replied ticking mediation too. I recieved an email from a company offering mediation on 28/08/2019.. The company is here Email: scmreferrals@justice.gov.uk Post: Small Claims Mediation, HMCTS, PO Box 8793, Leicester, LE1 8BN   I was just going to tell this company that i hadn't received  a cca request reply or a cpr reply and the debt is probably statute barred.. but haven't got round to contacting this mediation company as i am unsure what to do/say

Also, it has been 1 week, I suppose the longer that goes by the less likely it is to happen. Thank you for replying. I know what I did was so wrong, I have no excuses.     • Hello,   I park on a daily basis at Bicester North station. I buy a monthly parking ticket every month.   In the month of July I completely forgot for some reason. At no point did I receive a ticket on my car to notify me that I did not have a valid Parking ticket. I received no parking fine notices on my car during this period. The month of August I bought a monthly parking ticket again.   I have now just started to receive parking ticket notices in the post that I have been parking at the station without a valid ticket. It shows a photo of my car going in to the station and a photo of my car leaving the station. There are 20 tickets for the whole month of August @£50 per ticket going up to £85 per day if I do not pay within 14 days. OUCH!   Having walked around the station there are no signs or notices up anywhere that I can see that this is what is happening now. Forgetting to buy a ticket was a genuine mistake and I have copies of att the other 38 months I have bought a monthly ticket.   I appealed to APCOA in Sheffield. They sent me a standard letter for every single parking notice individually rejecting my appeal and to pay up. the fact that they sent me 20 letters back speaks volumes to reply to my one registered post letter.   Is this legal, don't they have to stick something on my car to alert me? APCOA also advices me that if I appeal the fine will automatically go up to £85 per ticket regardless of time frame. Any advice please?   Many Thanks

I spoke to the team at knowhow in sheffield today on the issue of my broken laptop.

 

To cut a long story short I spoke to an operative who was in effect acting as a go between,

relaying info to her manager then back to me.

 

An issue came up regarding collection of the product and

 

I asked to speak directly with her manager.

 

A man came on the phone and announced himself as "chris".

 

He then proceeded to be very rude,

talking over me,

being extremely agressive and bombastic,

 

he would not listen to my case and

 

just kept repeating the same phrase over and over again in a very irritating way

which I believe to be deliberate to inflame me.

 

I however remained calm and objective despite his nasty behaviour.

 

I asked to complain about him and he refused to put me on to someone with whom icould make a complaint.

 

I really feel this man should be repremanded for his behaviour

and would like an apology at least.

 

What can I do about this?

The charger is still working but windows is failing to boot so I'm guessing it's the hard drive. I've been paying somewhere in the region of £9 a month for a"care package" which I was sold in store as insurance when I bought the laptop.

what about safemode

keep hitting F8 after the beep.

 

have you got the T&C's for this care package?

 

bet they say accidental damage is not covered.

I cannot find terms and conditions on my "pay as you go support agreement" although I did break my power supply some time ago and managed to get a new one from them.

I had the same thing, sounds like a problem with the boot manager. Have you been doing regular back ups, is there any important documents, pictures etc on the hard-disk?

Unfortunately my back up regime leaves a lotto be desired. They did offer me data retrieval but I have problems getting to a store to collect as I live in orkney now and it takes another 10 days for this service. The weeks repair time was all I could afford time wise so fingers crossed they should haveit done by then i hope.....

double click [my] computer

 

right click c:drive

 

properties

tools

check now

 

tick both boxes

 

click start

 

then accept run on next start up

 

then reboot your machine

Surely your issue wasn't just to get it booked in. Did they want to run tests over the phone? What was the issue you were trying to get across?
