Hi, can anyone help me.

I owe two PCNs

due to redundancy and unemployment could not pay.

Now working offered them a monthly payment they wouldn't accept.

Parked my car near a station today came home and car been seized.

Phoned police they said that it had been seized by merton baiffs.

Phoned them but not open until tomorrow morning.

Beside myself.

What happens now?

how much do you think it will take to get car back?

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

ok

the reason why is they are employed directly by merton council

so sadly they do exist and are real.

contact the council enforcement team firs thing and get it sorted.

you must have had numerous letters on two PCN's

you cannot simply ignore PENALTY CHARGE NOTICES

and letters like first steps notices.

Unless you can find something defective with the PCN or Warrant then I'm afrais you may be out of luck. What is the car worth?

I assume you ignored all the rest of the notices the Council sent out? Do you have any idea of what the date is on the warrants they have?

I haven't heard from them since April last year. Think will have to let car go. I haven't received any notice from the bailiff though that they have my car am I meant to?

Lolly

Unfortunately, if a warrant has been passed to a bailiff company and you still own a car it is much more difficult to get an affordable payment plan.

The local authority will be of the opinion that if the debtor ignored the Notice to Owner /PCN (at the face value of approx £60) and continued to ignore the Charge Certificate AND the Order from Recovery that it is more than likely he or she will also default on a payment arrangement.

You say that you have not heard anything from the council since April. Can you be a bit more specific?

For instance, did you appeal the ticket?
