Hi there

I have had a letter from Transcom asking for £47.35 for Ebay fees. This is from ages ago when we sold a car. I couldn't remember how long ago so I foolishly logged into my old Ebay account. Can this logging in trigger Ebay to know that I am still around?

My last feedback was from 2009 so around 2 years to go before statute barred. How likely am I got get someone knocking on my door etc for this amount? I have read of harrassing telephone calls but thankfully we have changed our number a couple of years ago so should be ok.

Many thanks

I dont think ebay can tell it viewing ur account and its highly unlikely ur going to get anyone knocking.

As for calls if u have changed ur number u neednt worry.

Just asking but why not pay it if u used ebay?

I doubt very much you will have someone knocking on your door ? Even if they were to, they have absolutely no power to do anything and must leave when requested.

I suspect they will give up after a while if they are unable to contact you by telephone as that is their preferred weapon of choice.

Absolutely none!

Even if you did, you have every right to shut the door.

NO doorstep collector has ANY legal rights to be on your property.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
