Hello all,

Ive got a bunch of money laying around in my house and i have plans that require me to put that money into the bank

I have £250 debt with santander which i wont be paying until my plan has been complete

I have over 10k student debt and have only paid a small amount of this off,

i know this is potentially a stupid question but i need to be sure:

can the bank share my information with santander and can the student loans company (government owned)

start taking money from my account once i put in X amount of money?

Help appreciated, apologies for the wall of text.

only if you exceed the required earnings tarrif. [about £16k I think?]

do you have to start repaying your loan

I take it this is a post 1998 'mortgage' type one.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thanks for the response, you have to repay student loan if you earn over 15k per year,

ive been paying this off im just a little paranoid they can take chunks out of my savings?

Main issue is Santander being able to see how much money i have and taking from me and not SLC

Unsure what you're refering to 1998 mortgage type?
