Devon - when the weather is rather better than it is now, particularly the little café above Beer where you look down on the bay at Seaton.

Rottingdean in East Sussex and the walk along the coast from there to Brighton Marina. Rottingdean is full of interesting little antique/bric-a-brac shops and always feels so calm. In the evening when the sea has gone out, children are exploring the rock pools and dogs are splashing in the water it's quite magical.

Anywhere with swathes of open countryside/valleys/rolling hills/mountains.

I'm not a city guy or a coast guy at all ( even though i live on the coast)

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

You lucky thing. I have a friend who lives in Seaton which is why I know it so well. My daughter just loves visiting the Donkey Sanctuary too.

I'm glad the weather is better. I know it was absolutely awful down there.

Have you been in the old pulman railway resturant car at peco at beer for afternoon tea? just like being in an agatha christie story:-) and yes the donkey sanctuary is a great day out!

Oddly enough, Heathrow Airport. I love being reminded of how much of a world there is to see, its wonderful array of people, and how so many of them want to be here on these tiny little islands.

Or to live...I dunno. London. Glasgow. The Outer Hebrides, if I could just live in a shack with internet access.

Well what a interesting thread.

mmm-where do you begin.

The Lake District. on a roasting day .Coniston.Windermere.All Olde Worldy and a couple of cool pints taking it all in.

Walking along the several miles of coastline every week around Blackpool.Every day different weather conditions experiences, photos, people. You never know what is around the corner or who you are going to meet.

Essex,a fine place with many old buildings and historic villages.

I had better stop now or all of Great Britain will be covered.

A interesting thread.

Now who is next.
