According to s&u i took out two loans with them on the same day at approx £850 each in nov 2010, now i dont dispute the fact i had a loan but i do dispute i had 2 given me on the same day, also im sure i had the loan in the new year 2011 not 2010!!

I only found out about these two loans because i asked for a statement off account as i had received no statement in 2 years.

I queried the loans today and s&u state i did take two loans out on the same day.

I have requested copies of the agreements and informed them the accounts are now in dispute.

My question is can i do a cpa stop as i pay by card every week until this has been sorted.

I even asked my oh if i took too loans on the same day and hes pretty sure i didnt.

would you not be able to check with your bank accounts to see if these two amounts were deposited ?

Yes, you can ask the bank to put a halt on the Continuous Payment Authority. Do it in writing, either hand a letter into your branch or send it recorded delivery.

The payments from s&u are always in cash, the agent comes to your door and hands it over.

Will get down to my bank then and get them to sign for the letter re Cpa,

Thanks citizenb
