I don't know firstly if I've sent this to the correct place. But I am having some real problems with perfect homes. I have been really skint over Christmas and missed 4 weeks payments for tv laptop and tumble dryer. I pawned the laptop so I had some extra cash but do intend to get it out of pawn very soon.

However the perfect homes man came this morning and I'm staying at my mums she's elderly and poorly and I look after her.

Anyway he demanded the stuff back and I told him the laptop was in pawn, he said he was going to call the police on me so my mum let him take the dryer and the tv and paid £68 to perfect homes while he was here. And it was her last bit of money and I'm absolutely fuming that he's made her pay it!!! Is there anything I can do about it? He constantly harassed us for ages and ages too!!

Why did she let him take anything? They wouldnt have called the police as the police would say its a civil matter.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

you could write a letter to the CEO explaining everything and also explaining what needs to be done to make everything ok for you.... such as return of the goods that were taken, or refund of money paid etc.

did the rep leave a notice / form with you or asked you to sign authorisation that they could collect the goods?

the fact that you paid the company £68 and they still repossessed your goods at the same time shows that there is a dispute.

hopefully someone else can give you better advice.

If I've given you advice, then it is just my thoughts / opinions - doesn't mean I am right!

I think the important thing is did you sign anything. By signing a form, you allowed the rep to remove the goods. If not, they repossessed without lawful authority.
