5 cat debts - help

Hi all,

I'm new to this site but am after a bit of advice please.

 

 

I have 5 catalogue accounts with shop direct and have recently ran into financial difficulty.

 

 

I want to pay off the catalogues but cannot afford the monthly repayments on them.

 

 

I have emailed all the accounts seperately to request a repayment plan of £10 a month to each account.

 

 

This has been rejected by all of them and I am now receiving letters from their collections department.

 

I am really worrying about this as they are piling on interest and arrears charges too.

 

Any advice that anyone has for me will be much appreciated.

Just tell them that in view of their non concern you will be paying £10.00 per month until circumstances change I did I told them £1.00 per month and that is what they get, after the ionitial threats from their in house monkeys.

Hi MIKE770, did you do this over the phone or in writing? And have they taken any action against you. Do they still send you letters? Sorry for so many questions but am really stressed over this.

they threatened and defaulted so far but that is all, a while now. CRA states repayment plan.

bet you've loads of £12 PENALTY fees to reclaim
