Hi all,

I am under JSA since March 2013 and was sick in august for two seeks. Presently I am (wrongly) sanctioned since September 2013 for three months but I still sign on.

However, I am sick again since yesterday and I am supposed to sign on today but I was not able to go to this appointment : Also, I would like to know if that will be fine in order to still under JSA if my present sickness is not more than 14 days.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Emily

You can declare two periods of sickness in any one year. Each period can last up to 14 days. So you should be OK on this occasion - contact your Jobcentre and ask for form JSA28.

Ok, thanks. I will send them an email for this purpose.

I just received (after posting this thread) a letter from dwp with an object "Notification of Customer Compliance Office Interview"....for next monday.

I am confused since I am sanctioned since two months (no jsa paid...they even refused me my hardship jsa payment). But it will be fine if I notify JobCentre of my sickness in order to postpone equally the Compliance Office Interview?

They should normally be OK with postponing a Compliance interview if you're sick, yes. Call the number on the letter in addition to calling the main Jobcentre number.
