A bit random.

But i have noticed recently a trend in peoples homes to fit showers/baths within a bedroom, rather than have a private ensuite room or totally separate bathroom.

Whilst i see can see that in smaller homes, it is a way of having the facilities in a bedroom suite, i can see the downsides. E.g bringing wet/damp into the bedroom. Being watched or seeing someone going through a cleaning routine, when most people like to have privacy.

What next a toilet in a bedroom ?

We could do with some help from you.

Has anyone ever notice when visiting establishments like a barbers/hairdressers or opticians that most of the staff either have awful hair which in all honesty would put you off having you hair done there or when looking for glasses the person invariably has awful ones one, ( should have gone to Spec-savers, springs to mind , even if that is where you are ).

It is enough to make you wonder what you are letting your self in for!

Thank you Friends, now a week later life still seems different.

New year, a new challenge. Local half marathon, sky diving !

Quite often, i find that people who have been confronted by such big life issues, will look to do something significant to act as a goal to aim for. It is not bad idea, as it does concentrate the mind on something positive. A relative of mine suffered a stroke and their small goal was to be able to take part in a long bike ride. It needs to be a small goal first, rather than something too big. A step by step approach.

Best wishes UB

Time of year when people are in a reflectory mood.

In terms of humanity, i can understand why people opt out of the rat race. There is a story on BBC website of a wealthy man in India who turned a farm into a dog rescue centre and has over 600 dogs. They were all strays roaming the streets and he has given them a home. Quite a few have 3 legs and others have medical problems he helps with.

It is enough to make you wonder what you are letting your self in for!

I think you will find this in any profession, SD - possibly it is because they are too busy helping others to look good - see or build homes that they don't actually have time to do their own !
