using my address without permission

my husband who runs a business that was originally registered at the home address

left September 2012 and has had 2 further registered office address on the 9th October 2013

 

he changed it to my address again and put it and my phone number on his website

 

can I stop this as it was done without my knowledge or permission

and we are just about to finalise our divorce and have had no contact the past year

 

I keep getting phone calls for him some of them abusive and letters from banks etc

With the letters, write 'Not at this address' on them and repost them. Eventually the letters should stop but you may get a letter addressed to the 'occupier' asking for info about your ex.

 

I wonder if the Advertising Standards agency would get involved as they cover website adverts which are misleading. Just thinking outside the box there!

 

Why would he put your address down, Possible Fraud? If so, a call to your local plod may be helpful.

 

As he is a registered business, he has an obligation to keep Companies House updated with his correct registered address and correspondence addresses. Why not contact them to see if they can help.

With regards to your phone on his website, write a letter to the hosting provider of his website, reporting the event. They surely don't want to be involved in legal cases and will ask your husband for clarification.

I think he is using my address either to avoid creditors and not have a bad credit rating at his current address

 

I have rang and emailed Companies House and was told they take it in good faith that the address given is correct

and ok to use they do not have investigative powers!

 

surely some sort of proof should be requested if not then that's means any business could use your address

run up loads of debts and affect your credit rating when the address is used plus you may end up with creditors/baliffs at your door

 

plus as I think it is law that the registered address is shown on all company dealings if it is not true then it is possibly fraud

 

Companies House said they would send letters to the directors of the company to MY ADDRESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and if after so many attempts they had received no response they would look to strike the company off the register

its only a person.

It might be that you have to change your home number if your ex is not prepared to remove it from his website

Hi I am not sure I am on the right form if not admin please direct to me...

I had one of my tenant from Solovakia lived here with his family. and since than he has been claiming Working tax credit. More over every year I reported to HMRC , filled fraud form, Filled form with HMRC direct, threaten them that I will reporting to local news paper. After 4 years continue complaints I got forms today again that thier claims are updated.... awarded another loads of money.. Its so funny that they girl withdraw money from Solovakia and this bouy works full time here and they get £17000 for being OUR STUPID SYSTEM.. why have all those fraud lines when you dont F...........all.

I am livid and dont know what more can i do ... thanks in advance guide me if you can where I can clear my address . I am not worried about HMRC any more they have lots of money to give away.
