Hello,

Parcel2go one more CRAP company. I had used them for some time. Arranged collection with Parcel2Go/Yodel P2G15117143 was 24 hour service! Pay the premium for this! The parcel didn't show next day. I contacted them directly and all they were saying to me in their live help (=NO HELP they should call it), was "give us your email and we contact you in 24-48 hours". NOT A SINGLE email! Eventually 12 days later and still missing they said sorry its lost. Had they had done something from the very first day the parcel was missing (was loaded to a wrong Van), it would had been found!

Big box, 20 kilos? How one can loose it when it was also scanned initially in their Keighley Service center?

Yodel and Parcel2go avoid!

Typically they offering 20 pounds the parcel was worth 100! As it was a 24 hour service top of the range, inside the mainland UK, a quite big and heavy parcel there was no reason to think they will loose it. Otherwise i would had taken insurance.

My point here is that the company is crap. All they want is more orders, they have no will to help in case something goes wrong! Emails they can't solve all the issues they need to pick up the phone on the spot and contact the couriers IMMEDIATELY!

Parcel2go cheap but not helpful at all! What it works with them its ok but if something goes wrong just forget your parcel.

Yodel, very competitive rates for 24 hour services but completely un professional. Scanned in Keighley service center and then lost? How it is possible? Which Van was loaded? All these parcel are scanned!

I hope sharing my nightmare experience will save some others from having it.

Kind Regards,

On balance it is probably better to use Royal Mail and pay the extra insurance !

I believe the option to insure the parcel properly would have been there. I've used Parcel2go several times and only had a problem when I wanted Hermes (through them) to pu here. 2 days running they simply didn't show. P2Go gave me a deal offering the amount paid off my next parcel with them with a little extra on top. If I send something with them I make sure I pay whatever for the right insurance. Perhaps the OP should check their options more carefully next time s/he sends something through them, if ever.

what's the point insuring something that was picked up on 1pm and was supposed to be delivered to me in hours?

Yes I did see the insurance. But the point is NOT that. If they gave you a deal after a bad experience that's great for you but also that does NOT make them a good company.

The parcel was supposed to be delivered next day. Of course around 6pm next day alarms rings belled! I went to chat with them! Answer NOT to worry, you have until 7pm. So 7pm again, not to worry even if it says 24 hours its not guarantee to be delivred today!!! Its in our terms! Can you believe it? Then why the hell you listed the service as 24 hours and you charging for 24 hour delivery? Why you don't say CLEARLY 1-2 working days? Anyway! Parcel was obviously missing on the next working day. As it never showed.

At that point there was NO EXCUSE to not try and initiate a search for it. Its was just under 48 hours someone would have seen a big heavy box with black duct tape all around and FRAGILE notices! What's the point doing a search for it after 12 days? Of course with some much parcels going on, no one in Yodel's Keighley service centre will remember my box anymore!

Every day passed I was in live chat with them and all they were saying to me "we emailed the courier we will send you an email in the next 24-48 hours!" A BIG LIE! I have at least 10 transcripts not a single email reached me. Just out of interest to say "look we havent forgot we are investigating your issue". That's because they didn't bother to send any! I felt as a beger every time i was chatting with them at that point! Are ytou saying it was because I didnt insured it? Even if it was still I would want my parcel! And not the compensation money!

Rubbish! They just didn't care! Just sitting behind that live chat line and bull****ting ppl.

How many times i asked them to contact yodel by phone when it was just under 48 hours and search for my parcel? Countless times! I even phoned yodel but they were saying that because Parcl2Go did the booking they are the ones that they can ask not ME even if the parcel was in fact my parcel.

The company Parcel2GO is rubbish! When they started as company they were much more considerate for the customer and its problems. Now they grown they just DO NOT CARE! All they do is giving fixed answers, most of the time these are complete rubbish! When the company just started with k.black emails I remember everyone was MUCH MORE CONSIDERATE in live chat for problems like this! Now its like get your compensation and get lost! And if you didn't insure it full better for us! Your mistake!
