In June, i came to the end of my 18 month contract with T-mobile.

At the same time, I needed a SIM card for the sole use of picture messaging from a security camera.

I shopped around to see who could give me the best deal on picture messages.

T-mobile actually offered the worst deal when I phoned about this issue.

a week or two later I decided I was going to cancel my long time T-mobile contract and move to 3 Mobile as they were much cheaper and offered unlimited data.

I phoned to cancel and explained why I wanted to cancel and also explained I neeeded another SIM for picture messages for the security camera

and I was offered a much better deal elsewhere.

WELL, the chap on the phone says he can offer me unlimited data and a cheaper plan and says he can also offer me a SIM for £7.50 /pm with 200 FREE picture messages a month.

I agreed to that and continued the contract for a further 12 months.

the unlimited data is there BUT, the SIM for the security camera has NO deal for picture messages.

Indeed, it has no free picture messages at all!

I've phoned and asked after I had been charged for picture messages from the security camera.

I had even set the camera to send no more than 6 pictures a day so I didn't go over my supposed 200 message limit.

I was charged for all of them.

Suffice to say, this guy at T-mobile or EE or whatever/whoever they are now all out lied to me about this contract in order to keep me at T-mobile.

I am MIFFED to say the least.

He completely misrepresented the terms of this contract which is worse than mis-selling.

This type of behaviour is a criminal offence.

I have written a letter but, did not send recorded delivery and they've ignored it of course.

But, I want to know.

Are they required to record phone conversations where they are making verbal contracts?

If so, I plan to SAR them for this recording.

The woman I talked to later at T-mobile said there was no notes on my account about the contract he agreed to with me.

Any advice or similar experience with EE / T-mobile?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
