So his entire single claim's overpayment will be calculated as if he still had 17,000 in his account the entire time or just for that short time he did have that amount? I'm sorry, I really don't know how this works.


And I do agree about pleading guilty at the first chance and expressing his guilt and upset at the situation. The main reason like I said he is worried about court is because he has been in trouble in the past and got off lightly with what he should have got a jail sentence for.


Also, is he better waiting to for any interviews dates to come through the post or should he come clean to DWP/LA or would that be unwise? He doesn't have a lawyer or anything at the mo. Should we wait and see what the compliance team sends back? I will be surprised if they bring up his single claim. I assume they will have sent his details onto fraud now they have full access to to see his ISA/savings usage.
