Hi all.

Was wondering if someone could give me some good advice.

Right, The plain fact is that i'm up to my ears in it and i need to go bankrupt but can't afford it.

I have heard that you can get creditors o bankrupt you but i'm not sure how. Can i do it through council tax arrears etc and if i can how do i do it.

Helpful advice much appreciated. Thanks

Hello there.

How much do you owe in total?

How old is the debt?

Are you in mortgaged or rented accomodation?

Have you other assets?

Creditors do make people bankrupt - but only where it's likely that they'll be a return OR as a punitive measure in very slim circumstances.

Hi and thanks for the reply. I'm around £20,000 in it upto now and some are around 2 years old. I'm in rented accommodation and don't really have any assets. So it's not looking likely they would do it then?
