    • Hi   This is there Terms & Condition: Terms & Conditions WWW.RADIOWORLD.CO.UK Shop and purchasing something from our ecommerce store, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained in this document.   Now what I noticed with these is you need to go down the webpage to where is states 'Return and Refund Policy'   Now look directly above where it states 'Return and Refund Policy' you will notice it states: "International returns".   Look at 'Your Order Cancellation Rights' it states: You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so.   Look at 'Conditions for Returns' it states: The Goods are in the original packaging and The Goods were not used or damaged. (so how are you meant to check the goods were fit for purpose)   Look at 'Returning Goods' You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us.
    • Hi   What the Landlord has done is the Right to Re-Entry/Forfeiture by changing the locks they have terminated your Lease Agreement as this is an easier route for the Landlord of a Commercial Property than going through the Court process.   Now the but for the above the Landlord must have something in your Lease Agreement for the Commercial Property that states this (so have a good read of your Lease Agreement about this).   How much are you in Arrears for the Commercial Property?   Was it actually the Landlord that changed the Locks or did the Landlord use a Bailiff?   Were you given any notice to have the Arrears paid by and any action the Landlord may take to recover?   Has the Landlord been in contact with you about the Arrears?   Some info for you:   From 25th March 2022 all previous restrictions due to COVID-19 were lifted but the Government introduced the Commercial Rent (Coronavirus) Act 2022.   This sets out new Rent Arbitration Procedure that is Compulsory for Rent Arrears known as 'Protected Rent Debt'. The Arbitration will protect Tenants in certain Sectors where they were forced to close by the Government between 21st March 2020 and 19th July 2021. An Arbitrator will then decide how much rent these Tenants will have to pay. (note: Forfeiture is then prohibited for this Debt)   The above does not apply to Commercial Rent Arrears which had been incurred before 21st March 2020 or any that incurred post 18th July 2021.   These Restrictions DO NOT apply to Commercial Businesses that were not required to close by the Government   Have a Good Read of the Below Link: (you will have to download both the Commercial Rents (Coronavirus) Bill & Commercial Rents Code of Practice)   New measures in Bill to assist commercial landlords and tenants in resolving rent debts resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic - GOV.UK WWW.GOV.UK Commercial tenants mandated to close to be further protected from enforcement action to pave the way for proportionate resolution of...

Morning all,

I have just checked my email and found this from Quick Quid.

Dear Up2,

Customer ID: xxxxxxx

Unless payment is made on your loan by 2 August 2013 it may be sold to a third party collection agency.

To help you prevent this transfer your defaulted loan balance has been referred to the QuickQuid Final Resolution Department.

QuickQuid will accept a re-payment plan over n/a months. Based on your outstanding balance of n/a this would be a monthly payment of n/a. Please contact our Final Resolution Department between 08:00 and 21:00 Mon - Fri at 0800 016 3114 to accept this offer or to learn about other options available. It is important to provide dates of payment when replying to this e-mail as the arrangement is incomplete without dates of payment.

Once a payment plan is in place, collections activities will stop as long as payments are made on time. The only forms of payment accepted for this offer are Debit Card or Direct Debit Mandate. If your account information has changed please inform our agents so they can update your information.

I have received exactly the same email. I do have a loan from QQ, with a repayment plan in place which I have not missed payment on. I am hoping they've sent this in error.

RBS:

Data Protection Act request sent 6/6/06

Prelim sent 23/6/06 - no response

LBA sent 10/7/06

I've just received the exact same email. I've had porevious loans with quickquid but always paid them in full on time. The last one I had was at least 2 years ago. Not sure if I should contact them or not at this point?

It's either a [problem] or a phishing letter. Check the email's headers and find out where it really came from.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

Just got this email. There's nothing suspicious in the headers, and the email contains my correct customer ID and name. I don't have an active loan with QQ, but I have applied in the past and was declined.

The email also demands you call QQ and the number given is correct. All links in the email go to the correct place.

They've messed up.

I would issue a complaint to QQ ( dont just send a 1 line email, get a proper complaint in), and also send the OFT a complaint. CHances are that these are just automated emails with no human input, but even so, it shows that their internal processes arent fit for use.

Yes, it does make you question if these monkeys are even fit to hold their credit license.

Me too received the same today, I have never had a loan with them! What to do? I thought about ringing the 0800 number from my landline but stupid TalkTalk won't allow me to block my telephone number... I reported the email to Google as a phishing attempt and now I cant get hold of the email to get the customer reference number in order to report to the OFT etc etc.

Shall I just ignore it? I have just emailed on their site using they customer feedback form (sigh) and told them that I had never had a loan from them, and for them to remove my details and also that I had reported the email to Google's Phishing [problem] service

So we will see what transpires! Hopefully they are getting inundated with emails from us today!

I reported the email to Google as a phising attemp

Please don't do this, simply for the sake of QuickQuid's other customers. If enough people report this email as phishing, then Google will start moving it to the spam folder. It's a fair bet this email is exactly the same as the legitimate ones they send out to customers who actually are in arrears. By reporting this to Google, you could actually make it so people never see this email.

I had the same email too. Just registered here as a result.

It appears the phone number(s) don't even work now (probably inundated with calls about this).

If anyone is writing anything to anyone about this I'd be keen to get a copy to use as a template to do the same.

Companies that mess up like this and expect the consumer to fix it at a cost to them (calls not free from mobile etc) deserve as much hassle as we can give them...

This is all over Twitter now. Martin Lewis has picked up on it. One user, @abeislegend, was able to get through to QuickQuid on the phone and they say they've had 1000s of emails reporting this problem.

I got one from them as well. I assume it relates to the debt they gave to Mackenzie Hall who I had to report the the ICO for sending my account details to my employer. There is no way I'm paying it as QQ is partly responsible for the embarrassment that came as a result of that. I also believe that their actions also contributed to me being turned down for 2 promotions as the employer thought I'd been getting credit to the address.

Oh received exactly the same email, he has never had any dealings with this company whatsoever!

He was a bit concerned and was going to ring them and find out what it was about, I said don't bother they're on a phishing trip, delete and block their email address!!

This is from 2010. I assume I'm still on QQ's email list. I did email their TS but they just took Mackenzie Halls excuse that it was an error at face value.

Just don't want them dragging it up again as I really cannot be bothered with another fight on my hands with another PDL.

I myself have received an email from them today.

So I have sent them an email containing the following questions.

1)..When was the loan applied for.

2)..What payments have been made.

3)..My bank/card details.

4)..My address.

5)..My date of birth.

The reason that I ask these questions,is because I have NEVER had a loan from your company.

Of course I enclosed a copy of the email that they sent me,which included the so called loan ID NO and my name.

But what puzzles me,is where are QQ getting the email addresses and names from.

Regards,John.

THe way they get the info is simple. They all share the info between themselves.

Tried it a while ago. Made a brand new email addy with random letters and numbers for the name. I did an enquiry for a loan with TF and QQ. made sure the app didnt go through and a few weeks later had around 20 emails fron random pdls offering me loans
