Sorry to dash in,I am also suffering because of various counts for my car loan from sugust 2006 and personal loan from august 2007.

Dear Sir,

 

I have subscribed to Credit Expert. I am experiencing difficulties about TWO CREDIT accounts held with WELCOME FINANCE.

 

Because of the mishandling, misappropriations in both the accounts I have been in touch with them and following up since opening of the accounts, which has consistently been overlooked.

 

As per the recent status both the accounts are showing late payments, which is not the fact and consistently been overlooked by Welcome.

 

The supportive correspondence since 2007 till date is enclosed, alongwith the agreement, which would confirm that neither am I in arrears nor should there be a missed payment, if both the accounts re brought in order.

 

Before taking further steps against their ignorance, I thought it to bring to your notice, as they may try to further shatter my credit history.

 

I would be happy to provide you with more information, so as to enable you to take it up with them having note on my account.

It’s disappointing to receive your letter dt. 6th March 2009.

 

In this regard, I would like to bring the following details to your kind notice, as a last attempt.

 

  • The mess created between the two accounts and direct debits has been a matter of concern which continues.
  • The additional amounts added to the disbursement has been unacceptable, duly brought to the notice of the concerned at the proper time.
  • Despite getting several promises, one of which is in writing from Welcome, the account and credit references are yet to be up dated.
  • This was the 2nd complaint dealt by your department since October 2008 without any outcome.
  • In a futile effort to cover up yourselves, as per your letter dt 24th Feb 2009, you must be having record to produce and prove your claim of having tried to contact me, which never was a case.
  • On the contrary, I gave a call on 28th Feb.2009, in vain to speak to you. Presumably the message has been passed on to you by Amy, whom I spoke to.
  • since, no one from Welcome is in a position, it seems, to resolve the matter, I won’t prefer providing you with any other details again and again, as everything has been submitted so as to enable Welcome to take proper measures from time to time.
  • If the persistent attitude continues until after 30th April 2009, I would be left with no other alternative but to take appropriate steps with authorities I deem fit to give me justice.

 

It’s left upto you, your team and the entire Welcome Finance to come out with a justified solution.

 

Unnecessary communication/calls will not be welcomed and entertained hereafter, and a due proceeding will be initiated after the stipulated period for both the accounts.

 

Hope you would be in a position to understand the matter given the status.

Any comments from caggers

 

In my case, they have not yet dealt with the PPI, but went on to claim 3 direct debits instead of two for more than 6 months, mixed the instalements of one account into another in between to their convenience and since Nov.2008 I have stopped paying them with pre information and all the correspondence since 2007.On the top of it when now I have joined this forum I looked at it and they are charging £75 as acceptance fee which is added to the loan disbursed and instalements are according to the final figure after addition.

Can anyone suggest help me out with my approach.

Vilka - the acceptance fee thing is not always wrong - look on you agreement if there is a paragraph saying something like...

 

The total charge for credit is calculated from the outstanding amount of agreement and acceptance fee etc etc....

 

If it says that nothing you can do about it

but what about the other series of mismanagment and wrong credits resulting into purring me in arrears, accepting their mistakes without rectifying it.

Afternoon everybody

Yesterday I had a call from Welcome after a silence of about 2 months,As I have intimated them not to call me since they r not putting anything in writting, and I was working I said so and they are going to call me tom.

any suggestions how to go about it.

Now about a personal loan of my wife

Last year she got one for 4500 and within 30 days whe cancelled the PPI, it took them 1 year after stopping to pay them for last 3 months to send the new contract, which dosent say anything about the previous loan or adjustment of the same and on the top f it they have again charged 75 as acceptance fee

How I can we go about it.

SORRY ITS LATE

I have two accounts

the car loan started in Aug 06, and personal started in July 07.

The branch even after setting up the direct debit could not operate it properly and despite having balalnce in bank account because they were unable to take it out of it they used to call me and I paid them many times in cash .

The y have been charging the call charges

They have added break down insurance/charges at the time of disbursement on which they are charging me interest, which withn one week I told them is not acceptable.and I have noticed that it is for 49 months and not 48.for car.

after the personal loan disbursement which was in July 07, they added PPI which also was raised within 30 days. the instalement was £284, should have come down if the PPI taken off.

I was following up with them innocently and they went on promising, but didnt do it.

From Feb 2008 until July 2008 6 instalements were collected as 3 direct debits for 2 accounts.upon contacting they asked me claim the money back for the 3rd direct debit each month.

which i did in july 2008,the car instalement is £237.

Until then neither the PPI nor the break down have been cancelled.in between they went on adjusting the amount of £237 from my car towards personal loan.

I raised the matter with different authorities within Welcome, and ultimately from Nov 08 stopped paying them

Instead of replying to my complaints they have recently in this month put a default of my CRA.

I would be keen on taking them to ultimate.

do you still have copies of the correspondents sent and received

 

it seems to me the account is well in dispute.

 

its not a good idea stopping the payments but under the circumstances, the default should be removed.

 

i would recomend sending an sar at this point but

 

you prob at the moment is , i dont think compliance is there any more.

 

give it a few weeks

 

have you tried phoning this number

I have got all the correspondence copies and have sent them time to time

at present because of moving home my internet is not activated I will post the correspondence next week but I can provide all the information needed

 

Post what it means by compliance is there any more can u clarify.

I would also maybe suggest using some tried and tested letters to them that leave them in little doubt that they are dealing with a Cagger !

I Am Sending My Sar In A Day Or Two

Yesterday I Got A Call From A Pvt No During Office Hours For 4/5 Times I Told I Am In Office And Asked For His Name Which Was Not Given

Then In The Evening Called My Home Number And My Wife Was There. She Told I Am Not At Home Then They Said They Are Arranging For Repossession Of The Vehicle

Any Help In The Matter

I Have Already Paid About 4500 Of The Originally Granted 5400 Loan Supposed T Pay Final Payment For 48 Months About 11000.

 

I Just Wanted To Send Them Telephone Harrassment Letter
