help with money claim form

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but I have just registered with money claim on line and have looked over the form, ready to fill in and submit sat 15th.

when it asked for the amount you want to claim do I type in the amount plus interest as worked out on the spreadsheet, for example Im claiming £2857 in charges, interest £708.70 = £3565.70. do I put the final figure of £3565.70 in.

and do I tick the box that says do you reserve the right to claim interest.

Sorry if I come accross as being thick, but thats because i am.

The amount of words you can use on money claim is very limited, so i'd start by including the charges and interest (i take it this is what they charged you i.e. OD interest) and if you're pushed for space reduced it down to just one total.

 

As for the interest, yes you do want to claim, this brings up another box, where you claim your 8% interest.

Im totaly confused just now.

 

the amount before interest is £2857 when i filled in the spreadsheet and entered the date incurred it calculated the interest to by £708.70. so do I add these 2 figures together when putting in the amount to claim, and not tick claim interest or do I just put in the 1st amount and tick claim for interest.

told you i was thick.
