Ok,

I had an Egg card in 2003,

it defaulted in about 2005/6,

I heard nothing till 2009 then a DCA contacted me I paid them roughly £400 in 2009

,then I was going to court to have some debts wiped off,(Didn't work) under the credit laws,

I heard nothing until recently then Marlin contacted me wanting the £5500 balance on Egg card,

is it statue barred as it defaulted in 2006

or because I made payments to a DCA in 2009 is it not?????

TIA

CCA them

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Stay OFF the phone.

Keep EVERYTHING in writing.

Keep a diary of events.

Keep all correspondence and note date received on envelope.

Never discuss this with anyone over the phone. Deal ONLY in writing.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
