    • Of course by paying a pound a month, you have kept the enforceability of the debt alive stop If you've been paying a pound per month this time then either there was an explicit agreement or one could certainly say there was an agreement and so the new debt owners have basically bought the debt under its existing terms which would include accepting that you are going to pay a pound a month. Of course if you broke the instalment scheme anyway, this would give them a basis for moving in and trying to get a CC J. I expect that my site team colleague @dx100uk will be along soon to give you much better advice.
    • Hello,   I have an old debt bank loan from back in 2008 which I defaulted on and was passed on to a debt collection agency back then and I agreed a token payment of £1 per month which I have continued to pay since. Today I have had a letter from a new collection agency stating they have taken the debt on but have not had contact to verify this from the previous one and continue to pay them the £1 per month. This fell off my credit file back in 2014/15 and have continued paying the token payment. I have never been issued with a ccj on this and my question is can this new debt collection agency give me a ccj on this debt after all of this time?
    • Hi Andy just a quick question if we provide links to the law we rely on for instance do we have to provide paper copies in addition or just the links are sufficient as below, if I provide a working link on the court emailed documents do I also need to provide a printed copy to the Court, I will be emailing all  the papers and the statements to the Court as I don't think I will have them finalised before 23 June earliest so,    https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/wedding-services-coronavirus-covid-19-cancellations-and-refunds/wedding-services-affected-by-covid-19-statement-of-the-cmas-position-on-cancellation-and-refunds   https://www.gov.uk/government/news/covid-19-refunds-cma-warns-wedding-firms-over-unfair-practices   https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/cma-to-investigate-concerns-about-cancellation-policies-during-the-coronavirus-covid-19-pandemic/the-coronavirus-covid-19-pandemic-consumer-contracts-cancellation-and-refunds   https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-wedding-and-civil-partnership-ceremonies-receptions-and-celebrations   https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/cma-to-investigate-concerns-about-cancellation-policies-during-the-coronavirus-covid-19-pandemic     Consumer Rights Act 2015: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/contents/enacted        Unfair Trading Regulations (2008):  https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2008/1277/contents/made Frustrated Contracts law: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/Geo6/6-7/40     I assume if I am correct I can send by email before 2pm 24 June 2021 to put in the forum and send  to both the defendants and the  Court, please can I be advised what I do if the defendants do not issue me with their documents by the above date as they have been completely unreasonable to date in their dealing with matters in Court.
    • Hello,   I've nipped down to the car park today and taken photos of the signage (attached).   There are two entrances to the car park. Image 1 shows the sign for the first entrance. I entered in the other entrance (image 2) displaying s small yellow sign advising the car park is for the use of KFC customers. Once you enter the car park there is a larger sign with more information (Image 3). This is not visible until you are inside the car park as the sign is facing the opposite way to the other two.   Thanks IMG_1.pdf IMG_2.pdf IMG_3.pdf

Hi,

In 2006 I ended up in a lot of debt that I could not afford to pay.

I ended up entering a financial management programme with Daniel Chandler Ltd.

After 6 and a bit years I still owe my creditors money and still keep getting late payment letters even though I have never missed a payment to Chandlers.

The debts started off as Capital One credit card,

Lloyds TSB Loan and

Lloyds TSB credit card.

It seems however that these debts keep changing hands and I have no idea now of which debt is with which company.

I have had letters from AIC,

APEX,

BLS collections and

SCM solicitors.

It seems like Chandlers have made payments to all of these at one time or another.

Can anyone offer any advice as to what I should do.

Thanks
