Hi Everyone,

 

I will be attending a tribunal to contest the rejection of my DLA renewal claim. As my DLA claim was rejected, naturally my payments were stopped. However, as I am only 24 and working part-time, my Working Tax credits were also stopped. If I am successful in my tribunal, will I be backdated for just the DLA payments, or will I also be be given backdated payments for WTC?

do you mean the extra tax credits due to being disabled or your tax credits as a whole? i think if there stopped due to your DLA being stopped they should be backdated too but im not 100% on this as you have to have a qualifying benefits id call TC up and get them to confirm for you but you can qualify for this on others benefit than just DLA
