Ok so getting ready to sort the payday loan misery once and for all. Traied ringing the bank to cancel all CPAs and was put through via bank to the visa dispute team. they have said I dont have any re-occuring payments to any payday lender??????

Are they talking crap or is there a chance that I dont have any CPAs?

Not much of an issue as my wages and other money will go to new building society account this month. But wanted to use one of my old accounts for making payments to some companies.

should I just report cards as stolen and have it blocked completely, then get new cards?:|

Most banks will say there arent, even when there are. You need to put it in writing and hand it in person to your branch. get them to photocopy the letter, sign date and stamp both copies. You keep the photocopy, they keep the original. From the second they receive that letter, then you are covered. If you dont get that instruction in, then you'll find it much harder to get any money back that the bank have allowed out.

If you are living day to day with your finances, perhaps set up a notice of appropriation to ensure the money stays in your account so your bills are paid.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..
