Ok so im going get out of my payday loan mess, some i will clear this month and some I will default on. I need to find out what PDL companys are linked so I can ensure that i dont give new bank account details to one while defaulting to another, then wake up to find out they passed my details on and my new account was raided.

So far ive found the following -

247 money box - Do they have links to other PDLs

peachy - Do they have links to other PDLs

Quid.co.uk - Do they have links to other PDLs

Zebit - linked with lending stream

Money shop - linked to payday express and PDUK

Wonga - Do they have links to other PDLs

Payday express - as above MS & PDUK

PDUK - As above

Cheque centre - Do they have links to other PDLs

Swift Sterling - Do they have links to other PDLs

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

NEVER give bank details to ANY of them. Every one of them are known for sharing details.

What you need to do is demand each lender gives you their bank info and a reference number so you can set up a payment direct from your bank by Standing Order. If they refuse, you can use a prepaid card, or send them a postal order for your repayment, and tell them that you are deducting the cost of the postal order plus stationary and stamp from the amount you owe. They are NOT allowed to refuse the postal order. Send it recorded delivery or send it with free proof of posting. Don't chase it up, just track receipt. Doesnt matter if they cash it or not when they receive it. You sent them payment, what they choose to do with it is up to them.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

great advice, I will only use SO for payments or pre paid card, I have some I can clear but will now tell them it will be bank transfers only.

ive accepted my credit rating will take a hit but hey just using these companys has already done that.

Just a heads up as well, some PDL's are known to ask you for your bank details so THEY can set up a standing order. That is not possible and a SO should ALWAYS be done by you, through your bank. The lender should never have access to your details.

As i said, if they refuse the prepaid card and SO, then send the postal orders. Theyll soon shift. Remember, its not your fault you are deducting the cost of the PO etc from the debt. Theyre the ones that are refusing payment and not following regulations, so your only reasonable payment method is the postal order. They will never take you to court either, as you are still paying the debt, and they have zero basis for a claim. Should they get it to a court, a judge would side with you as you are paying the debt as your financial circumstances will allow.

The lender knows this, and will hope you dont realise it, thats why they threaten and harass you, hoping youll break down.

Dont pay by cheque. It contains your bank details and multiple PDL's have been know to use this info and set up their own payment method.

I would STRONGLY advice against it. It is very easy for them to set up a recurring payment without your knowledge. It is a major flaw in paypal, that they have yet to rectify.

Standing order, or you can use the postal order method as suggested by one of our site admins. They cannot refuse to accept it ;)
