I have just read the dreadfully sad news posted by BankFodder that Martin3030 passed away earlier today at just 54 years of age.

I joined this site back in 2007 and have posted over 5,000 posts. Martin joined a year earlier and has made over 55,000 posts !!!

As any regular on here will know, it takes a lot of time each day to respond to queries and from the number of posts made by Martin, it is clear that he DEDICATED most if not all of time to assisting people on this site. What a great person. I will certainly miss him.

RIP.

I hate bailiffs. Let me know if you have had a problem with them. I am sure i could upset them.

I now have experience with Securitas Security Services (UK) Limited and won in court against them 01/2018

Very sad to hear this news :( As others have said, Martin has left such an important legacy that his family can be proud of, so many people helped, and almost certainly lives saved.

Martin is definitely a Consumer Hero.

Martin made a difference. For that, he and his loved ones can be extremely proud. Thank you and RIP

CAG has helped me so much since I joined. Based on what I have learnt from others on here and my own experiences, I try to chip in and help others from time to time. I am not an expert and give my opinion only. Always check with the more experienced CAG members before making important decisions.

Was very shocked and sadened when I recieved the email regarding Martin3030.

I had many conversations with Martin some years (2007) ago when I first started fighting about PPI, Was always a great help and great for digging up the little snippets of very useful information.

Martin will be a huge loss to us all on CAG, My thoughts and prayers are for all Martins Friends and Family at this very sad time.

RIP Martin m8

I only met Martin once- at the CAG camping weekend and BBQ several years ago. He was a great person and incredibly committed to the site. I wish I had got to know him better.

Lisa and I send our condolences.

We see too few people like Martin in our lives who put others before themselves. RIP.

Perhaps there could be a permanent banner of rememberance placed on the homepage.
