Hi,

I am on Income related Esa and the claim is in my name, my partner wants to apply for a job which is only 5 hours per week and amounts to around £35 per week, is she allowed to do this and will the amount she earns be taken off our Esa?

I have tried finding this info online to no avail :|

Thanks.

I am pretty sure you are allowed to earn £20 and they will deduct the rest at least that was the case when it was income support!
