Exercise is the main word to remember.

The attitude today means we really aren't helping ourselves. There was mention of a couple of days of snow to come and this morning it is reported how schools are shut and people not being able to get to work.

In 1963 when we had feet of the stuff and it lasted weeks, I walked to work, it took over 2 hours to do it but when I got there all the other employers were there or turned up shortly after. Because our attitude was different then, we felt a responsibility and duty to our employers.

It seems if there is no transport to get to where we want to go, even short distances, then we do ourselves a disservice and just don't go.
