Hi all.

I was hoping one of you guys could give me a hand with this,

I have been Having prolonged wrangling's with Bcard and their DCA's for a good few year, I have perhaps let things lie for a bit to long but with no contact from any of them I just forgot all about it.

I sent the SAR request and received back all the statements from the account, I have compiled a spread sheet of transactions. Detailing money in and out, any charges applied and of course and PPI payments made.

I would be grateful in anyone could give me any indication as to the best course of action with these figures.

Not counting the interest, the money spent when compared to the money paid when combined with the fees and the PPI are about the same.

Should I send of a dispute notice to Bcard? I can PM any of you guys with the figures if you think it would help?

I am a bit at a loss with what to do with this information.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Cheers

the PENALTY charges & PPI will

be two sep claims

dont forget you can use 24.9% as the int rate on the spreadsheets

do two spreadsheets [CISHEET]

one of PENALTY charges [£12 etc etc]

one for PPI.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi Le Bonn,

This reply is about reclaiming penalty charges only. Use a separate thread in the PPI forum to deal with that issue.

Read the Interest Tutorial here about reclaiming penalty charges plus interest in restitution - http://www.consumerwiki.co.uk/index.php/Interest_Tutorial

Use this spreadsheet but change the interest rate to 24.9% - http://www.shweb.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/interestcalcs.xls

If you choose to claim interest in restitution, you will have to file a claim against Barclays Bank PLC t/a Barclaycard. See other **WON with int't in rest'n** cases here for guidance - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?97-Barclays-BCard-and-Woolwich-successes

Do the reading and then shout for further advice if you need it.

We could do with some help from you
