Hi my first post so please be kind!

I made a complaint to Halifax as i paid PPI on a loan for 7 years.

The loan i believe was for around £7500 (files water damaged beyond repair!) from around 2003-4

i paid off the loan i think the repayments were around £170 - £180 a month.

The loan ran his full term.

I paid PPI for all the term.

I received a offer of £69 plus interest at 8% given me £115.70.

Now i'm no financial wizard but that seems low around 82p per month ?

I think i should reject and take it further any ideas?

you'll have to PDF them please

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

'

BUT......

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc using paint program

but leave all figures and dates. {DO NOT USE A BIRO OR PEN]

convert existing PC files to PDF [office has an installable print to PDF option]

..

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites [http://docupub.com/pdfconvert/]

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

.

or if you have PDF as an installed printer drive use that

or use word and save as pdf

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

i'e Default notice dd-mm-yyyy

.

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

.

Halifax have just made me a silly low offer, as said you need to get all the data up together payments etc.

Just for example Halifax told me that my 8% interest was £30 odd but I have calculated it as over £900!

thegfb vs Natwest PPI - WON - £5.5k refunded October 2011 :-D

thegfb vs Sainsburys Bank PPI - referred to FOS 15/09/2011, WON - £2.7k refunded February 2013

thegfb vs Capital One PPI - Complaint sent September 2012, dragging their heels

ongoing...

------------------------------------------------

Thanks for all your advice so far :D
