i am confused about something about a illegal immigrant. i have a friend of a friend who i met only once. the very next day he asked me to marry him and i got inquistive because he is soo pushy about it. Fom what i gathered from my friend he is in uk illegally so need a uk citizen to get a visa.

He applied for a visa a 2 years back that should be in 2011 with a false college certificate to get a work visa. He didn't get it because he sent wrong photos or something(not sure about this). Then he again sent the officials the original pics. From that time according to her he never got anything from the border agency not even his passport. Still he is in uk from these 2 years. Now he is working in a shop. I don't know anything else other then that but I say to her we need to complain to the ukba. I thought may be he is lieing about not getting his passport back( becoz this all happened in 2011). But she is scared our names will come out and we ll be in trouble. i am also scared and had enough problems already.

My questions are do any of you know if he is legal to stay if his passport is with the ukba? should i complain to the border officials he is harrasing me to get a visa? i already complained to the police and they gave him a talking. but i didnt say all these i just said he is harasing me.

Can i be anonymous to complain?

i dont know anything where he lives or that sort to give them much info. i just know where he works..:(

My boyfriend says I need to go to the police.. Should I go to the police or the border officials?

Hello there.

I can understand why you're confused and I would be in your postition. I'm posting a link to the UKBA about reporting illegal immigration and hope it will be useful to you. I noticed that they say not to put yourself in danger, which is good advice.

Take your time and think about this, if he's been here since 2011 it's not super-urgent, and ask more questions of us if you need to.

My best, HB

Hello honey bee thank you for the advice. I didn't get your reply to my mail unfortunately. So sorry for not replying faster.

I am thinking to take sometime to see if he is asking someone the same thing to get a visa.
