Hi there, i've been going through some debt problems recently, when I was younger I had an array of credit cards and payday loans. Now some years later it is still taking its tole. I met a man by chance who spoke to me about Fiat currency, and how because currency is like an IOU and doesn't actually have any value I dont owe my creditors anything.

He went on to say that I have to have made a signature to opt in, otherwise they are giving me money, he said there are three documents I should request, if they cannot provide any of the three I can write off my debts, does anyone know what these three things are? Many thanks

no, just as he appeared he vanished, he also went on about how if he took products from the place I work, once he got into court he would explain to the judge that the products don't actually cost anything and the judge would agree with him.

He said that it isn't about being dishonest, just about using the law correctly, which he makes money from. I thought i'd have a wild stab here, just to check if anyone knew about it.

It sounds like this might have something to do with the "Freedom of the Land" crew.

I suspect that you will find yourself in deeper trouble if you follow any of their bizarre ravings ?

I have moved your thread to the Debt Collection Industry as there is no legal issue to assist with.

If you have debt problems then we can help you reclaim charges, mis sold Payment protection insurance.

We can help you with budgets and communicating with your debtors in order to get repayment plans in place or even check to see if your debts might be statute barred.

If you want to take advantage of this advice then you are going to have to let us know a bit more about your situation.

if your debts were more than 6yrs ago

gone anyway!!

check your cra file first

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Verkai hi

If you want proper help with some real debt problems, you should post a list of your debts with a brief history of each. Look at other threads to get an idea. Then ppl on here will be in more of a position to offer you sound and realistic advice.

Listening to crackpots who suddenly appear, wave some magic potions you can't understand under your nose, then just as quickly vanish into the night is not going to get you anywhere towards becoming debt free.

Seriously.
