Hi,

I have a debt of £500 accumulated in 2007 for an overdraft.

I have offered Full and final settlement and after turning down my offer of £300 i started reducing the offers,

then they agreed to £300.

I have checked my credit file and it is in default not on credit expert but on equivalent.

I sent a CPUTR2008 off to them and they came back with some account details that looked like my old account.

The file says last updated in 2008 but the default started in October 2007.

What is my position now?

If I don't pay will the record be removed this year?

If I do pay then they will only show partial payment and this will be on my credit file for another 6 years.

Help!

Thanks

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
