You can only self certify yourself on JSA for a maximum of two periods within a 12 month period so as long as you had a gap of at least 3 working days between the two periods of sickness you declared then it would be ok but you won't be able to declare any further periods of sickness fr a while and if you do your claim will be closed automatically.

Regards payment only the processing officer can advise if you will definitely be paid as they would input the details of the JSA28s

Is there any reason your payment wasn't advanced for the period of signing up to 20th December? All customers who are not working part time in the office I work in are automatically advanced for bank holidays.
