Hi All

Sent my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to halifax on 03 August 06.

Received back incomplete, so sent request for missing statements on

08 September 06, As yet still no reply so sending another request

today (06 October 06) giving 14 days to comply or will submit complaint

to the Information Commissioner and begin County Court action.

I think I have given them more than ample time to fulfill my request,

we'll see how it goes from here!

Keep you informed, don't let 'em get you down, no more Mr Nice Guy!!

Good Luck

No 8% is interest you charge at court stage, you must not include it in your pelim and lba letters, now the interest mentioned in the letters is that which ha been charged to your account due to going overdrawn SOLELY due to bank charges....leave it out if it doesnt apply to you, if it does the spreadsheets are in the library to help work it out!

Sent Prelim request, minus interest...(thanks), received acknowledgement of receipt, the case is being investigated and I should hear within 4 weeks. Standard stuff I should think.

All a bit messy really, sent LBA before sending rejection of offer but as it happens I checked Royal Mail's Track and Trace online for the recorded items sent and they have no signatures that they were received! So now got to file a complaint with Royal Mail. At least I can now send Rejection of Offer and LBA again...but this has caused major delay......Track your letters if sent Recorded or Special Delivery to avoid any unnecessary time delays!

OK....so the bank previously offered me £498, now after sending my LBA they have upped the offer to £1,229..not bad but not good enough time to prepare my court proceedings and see where that takes me.
