Hi

Thank you for your reply.

With regards to the JD Williams / Naturally Close accounts, I think i've caused confusion. Sometime before 2007 I had a Naturally Close account and a JD WIlliams account. They both went to debt collectors, I can't remember who JD Williams went to but it is now with Scotcall. Naturally Close went to Moorcroft and I have not heard from them since 2009. There is no record on my credit file from Scotcall who have been collecting from me for this JD Williams debt for the last few years. There is an entry on my credit file for Moorcroft on behalf of JD Williams but I don't know if this is for my Naturally Close catalogue or my JD Williams Catalogue. Does that make more sense?

I will get the SARS sent out asap

Next / The Lewis Group - I was paying the debt to The Lewis Group so I assume it was them that took me to court. I have no idea if I have any of the paperwork from the court case or where it would be.

Many thanks

Lisa x

Lisa

Yes you can ignore them however in my opinion make sure you keep all the letters and evelopes if they are important

Also

The ones that you send a CCA request to, if they do not comply withing 14 days (working I think) then you can stop payment

If they phone you you can write to them telling them to remove your numbers and contact by writing only

  • 2 months later...

hello again,

I have just checked my credit file and now have a defaults from Shapely Figures and Simply Be added on 14/03/2007, these accounts were opened on 01/02-03-2007 so I assumed it would have dropped off and a default couldn't have been added? Or have I got that completely wrong? (it has been known).

regards

I haven't had any money to pay these accounts but I really don't want any more defaults. Is there anything I can do to get them removed?

Hi Lisa,

If I read this correctly default addeddd 14/03/2007 any payments made since that date? BUT you say they were only opened 01/02/03 2007 so they were at best defaulted in their first 3 months.

I'm easily confused I know but can't make sense of this, can you clarify please?

Sorry, the default date is 14/03/13 on both entries

Shapely figures account opened on 01/03/07

Simply Be acccount opened on 02/03/2007

I made regular payments up until Nov last year as I have had no income since than

I hope that makes more sense. I do tend to confuse people :)

OK, my guess at this point is that the accounts are likely to be sold on.

Hi Lisa,

From what information you have provided I cannot see a valid reason for removal of the default entries, the accounts were it seems in arrears, default notices issued and not remedied.

Personally I would concentrate on the charges for now.
