Maybe concentrate on the exams after sending off the SAR.

Then, when you're fully qualified, come back and kick the bank's butt, bigtime.

Hope the exams go well for you.

Might be something worth noting, the cheque we issued before I had declined the offer.

Hi HO,

Return the cheque to where it came from with a letter saying that you did not accept the bank's offer, or that you wrote to the FOS rejecting it on xxdate.

:-)

They know it was rejected, I have a copy of the letter they received on the 12th April. Yet this cheque has been stamped as the 25th April then signed and checked by two people.

Their incompetence actually worries me!!!

Haha now their saying they have put a stop in the cheque but if I cash it i have accepted full and final and a note made on the file. So if I cash a cheque that will not be honoured its full and final?

The mind boggles

Just return the cheque and leave them to sort it out.

Have you written to the FOS to ask WHY Barclaycard think you accepted an offer.

I am sorry that Barclays has written to you saying that we have confirmed your acceptance, which we did not.

I have attached a copy of the letter I sent to Barclays for your reference.

I have now contacted Barclays and instructed it to amend its records so that it knows you have not accepted the settlement.

Yours sincerely

Theirs nothing on that letter which implies Barclays "missed the do not accept box" like they claim. There is no box!!! More lies tut tut
