Morrison Groceries Poor quality Customer Service, refusal to respond appropriately.

We are unfortunate to have in Guiseley West Yorkshire more than just the One Groceries store, over the year we and others have seen a marked difference in Customer service & appropriately.

 

1. Food sold "reduced in price" as the manager states "A good will gesture" to customers food that would be out of date the next day and only reduced by 20 pence.

 

2. Rotisserie chicken that has been witnessed reduced to clear by a fraction then when staff members come to by to purchase same food product on display for customers they in front of the customer are given same product with several (£'s)pounds off!

When questioned if this is a "Staff discount" they respond "No we don't get discounts!" in reply the customer asks well can I get that food product on display for they same amount as your staff member the response, "We are only reducing it 20 pence for customers!".

This had occurred several times repeatedly with customer present.

 

3. Lack of consideration for disabled / mentally challenged persons. My partner becomes overwhelmed at times, and often takes to using the self service than regular check out as he can go slower and is not rushed through. often mistakes can be made and easily rectified through self service than the regular checkouts. However when the amount is impractical to use the self service checkout one has to use the regular checkout and quite often their simply is not the degree of patience and respect afforded him.

 

4. Staff (deputy managers) mockery and poor behavior an ongoing issue.

 

5. Customer service head office failed to take concerns above responsibly, and three minutes after 8 PM (closure for customer service 28th December 2012) customer service while acting with deliberate indifference simply hangs up the phone!

 

 

What can one do other than no longer frequent this store when the managers of this one local only food store and their customer service simply act with deliberate indifference and even ignorance ?
