Hello Lee, (and all other writers too)

I have been having a terrible time with getting mobile internet in my area (North east Fife). Phone calls is fine and no complaints.

On wifi averaging 3500-6500mbps at home and work. Try to use mobile data and it is at best 35kbps (not mbps) and takes about 2 and a half minutes to load the bbc webpage. This is when shopping in St Andrews or on the Old course. My reference number is IN00976322738 and have been talking with customer service, tech support and everyone else I know more about performing hard and soft resets, updating software and refreshing SIMS than some of the staff. It is driving me crazy and I would like to get back to O2. Could you please help?

Hello and Welcome,

I've started a new thread for you, follow the instructions in this message from Vodafone.............

Hi CAG members,

We thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves and to assure you all that our presence on CAG is with the very best of intentions.

vodafone UK has recently introduced a dedicated Web Relations Team which is keen to seek out customers who’re having difficulties with their accounts and feel that they have no other place to turn to than CAG and other consumer forums and blogs.

Naturally, it’s not possible for us to help directly with account specific queries on CAG and as such we would encourage those members who feel we can help them to contact us privately at

quoting ‘WRT135 – CAG Forum’ in the

subject line to ensure that it reaches the Web Relations Team.

When emailing us we would also ask that you either provide us with a link to your post or thread – if you’ve posted in another member’s thread please also provide your CAG username so that we can check what your query is.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

If in doubt, you should seek the opinion of a Qualified Professional.

If you can, please donate to this site.

Help keep it up and active, helping people like you.

If you no longer require help, please do what you can to help others

RIP: Rooster-UK - MARTIN3030 - cerberusalert

Hi agrumpycustomer,

Thanks for making me aware of this.

In the first instance I'd recommend anyone experiencing difficulties with the network to follow the guidance on our eForum here.

Should you also wish to discuss your concerns further could you email me with your details via the Contact us form here and quote the code WRT135 - CAGlink31.gif Forum in the subject line?

Once sent you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. To ensure that it reaches me could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?

Kind regards,

Web Relations Team

Vodafone UK
