Unfortunately our friend Mandy landed up in hospital yesterday with her leg broken in 2 places!!! She'll be there a few days so has special reason to be grateful to hospital staff working over Christmas.

Oh no! Not the lady who you've been helping to sort out her benefits? I hope she has a quick recovery.

Not sure. Went to see her today and they came to get her ready for an op this afternoon to pin it, but had a phone call later to say it had been postponed until tomorrow. It'll be a few days and she'll have to keep her weight off it for 6 weeks.

Oh no! Not the lady who you've been helping to sort out her benefits? I hope she has a quick recovery.

Yes the same one LG. They won't let her out until she can prove that she can cope with things. There's been mention of an assessment so looks like social services will be involved.

I have to confess to rather hoping that this will force her to accept outside help but I know she'll resist. It's going to be tough for her.:-(
