Hamptons are threatening me with an SD for a credit card debt which I to be honest forgot about , it's under6 years . The original amount was 650 but was 900 +. By the time lowers got hold , any ideas ?

Yes send off immediately for a copy of the agreement - (make sure you enclose a £1 postal order and send recorded/get proof of posting, and also a SAR to the original creditor might be £10 well spent - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/content.php?414-CCA-request-letter

 

I presume it is Lowells who own the debt, so the CCA request must be sent to Lowells.

It now seems Lowell are using most of the companies in the group to threaten SDs Red & Hamptons to day Lowell portfolio and Lowell fianancial, will they claim it's ok because they are different entities.
