My gf took a payday loan out with speed credit which to my knowledge don't exist anymore as their website hasn't worked for weeks.

The debt has been sent to ndr who have put this loan from 400 which 130 has been paid back to 2300.

Where does she stand in paying this, as she can't afford to pay anything near this.

They have also threatened sending make believe bailiffs to the house.

Any help and advise would be more than appreciated.

HA ha Bailiffs?? Or do you mean doorstep dunces?

When did she take this out?

What was the %?

Has there been any fees or charges they have added?

Keep OFF the phone, ONLY deal with this in writing, keep a diary of events.

A ha, this makes sense, they were closed down, and have reopened in another name it would appear!

Taken out in June. Only now has asked for my help. Couldn't tell you the rate or charges as they have passed the debt on from speed credit. And I have only today been told as she is getting worried.

I can't understand how 400 can turn into 2300

No neither can I?

There is little to be worried about, they are simply debt collectors NY bailiffs, and DCA's have NO legal powers whatsoever.

What has NDR stated in their puerile missive?

Did speed credit inform that they were passing this too NDR?

Did NDR inform that they were now collecting for this?

Check her credit files.

Stay OFF the phone, keep everything in writing.

speed credit and all their partner companies are hard to deal with. The first thing she needs to do is cancel the continous payment authority at the bank, so this company cant access any funds from her account, also say shes lost her card so they card gets cancelled too. ideally she should open a new bank account somewhere else and have her pay redirected that that account. once shes dealt with that, only pay back what she can afford, even if thats on £1 a month, theyll just have to accept that, all their threats are hot air, ive been dealing with this company since june too and none of their threats have ever happened. also shes advice on the forums has been that really if youve lent from them that you only owe the orginal loan, plus a months interest. all those other charges they have added are unlawful

Hi guys just a few questions.

I have now paid off her months loan plus one month interest, what should I do know, I want to report them for harassment and bullying as I had to change her number because of texts and phonecalls saying they will turn up at her house and take 9 times worth of the loan.

Any suggestions on how to do this?
