Please do not buy a dell computer i have a 5 month old computer that is faulty the engineer has been twice and told me it it faulty they will not refund me my money

 

they are impossible to deal with

 

only buy from somewhere you can return if faulty

Get your local trading standards involved, you ARE covered under SOGA rules as this is under 6 months old. Also enter into DELL complaints procedure, don't just roll over and accept being ripped off.

Thank you so much i am in touch with the chairlady someone called claire but not getting anywhere sending solicitors letter today and going to cab sent them all the bumph already but they are not moving i will not leave it

so they must repair, replace or refund

 

if its been 'done/ twice

 

that very unfair

 

and typically outside the 'normal' 28days

 

when the should be considering replacing it.

Hello unfortunately we paid with a company cheque so I can't complain to the credit card company I have evn been to watchdog to complain and let them deal with it but they haven't come back yet my solicitor is wording a letter for me for tomorrow I won't let it go as the computer is useless and getting slower every day

If your paying for this Sol, then drop it, and use Trading Standards instead, the Sol is simply extracting money you don't need to be paying regardless whether this is a business Sol or not.
