Help with compromise agreement

How long after signing a compromise agreement (husband has had a copy of it sent back three weeks ago) before the money is paid into his account?

Anywhere between 7 and 21 days, most likely the next payroll run if thats in a few weeks.

Thanks for that, that's what we thought. Was hoping it would have gone in on 1st Dec but it didn't, HR not being very helpful at all. Oh well, not the merry christmas we anticipated.

Probably not then by the sound of it. When was it sent in and was he paid monthly? If so what date? That is the likelyhood of when it will be paid

You'd be better off reading the agreement to check the payment date, nobody on here can guess sometimes its 7 days, 14 days, 14 working days, next pay run or the one after that.

 

Don't forget you can still issue unfair dismissal proceedings if they don't pay up, you can threaten a claim to help them along a little...

Depends what it says in the agreement. A normal period would be 30 days.

Thanks everyone, I know they are doing another pay run this month, hope it will be in that, otherwise looks like it will be 1st Jan (was paid monthly on the 1st). We thought it would be dealt with separately and done as quickly as possible, 3 weeks just seems like a long time at the moment with Christmas coming and waiting for benefits to be sorted out.
