I went to get some postal orders from the post office and was told there was a charge to buy one i.e. 1 pound one actually costs 1.50.

Okay so I have to pay these fees, bah!!!! Last time I paid for a postal order was just for the amount I wanted to send.

I still find it cheaper to pay for a postal order than getting a counter cheque from my 'bank' who want £10 per cheque irrespective of the amount being requested!!
