I received a letter from Student Finance this morning, stating if I am earning over £15795 per year, I will have to make student loan repayments.

In the booklet, it says that if you're classed as permanently unfit for work, the loan can be written off. Anyone know how I can prove this, please? ESA isn't indefinite and no-one knows how I'll be in 10 years time or whatever.

Can you confirm what periods the loan relates to-when was it taken out ?

I think you will need a letter from your GP stating that you will never be able to work again - there may be more information on the student loans website.

All I have ever managed to do is get loans deferred for 3 years rather than the normal 1, but that was the old style loans.
